Scrap Items That We Cannont Recycle
There are certain materials we cannot accept because they are extremely dangerous to our employees, and/or our environment. We appreciate your business and thank you for honoring our policies.
Below is a list of items we cannot accept:
- Acetylene containers
- Aerosol cans
- Appliances with PCB capacitors
- Asbestos, contaminated items
- Ballasts
- Hazardous waste, contaminated scrap
- Liquid or gas filled containers of any kind
- Mercury switches, thermostats
- Nickel cadmium, lithium batteries
- Oil filers
- Oil, unknown liquids, CRT tubes
- Pain cans
- Ordnance, ordnance related materials
- Radioactive materials
- Refrigerators with CFC
- Sealed units, tanks
- Sodium switches
- Unknown chemical substances
